As golfers, we get so immersed into hitting the ball high, straight, and far enough, that we sometimes forget where we are trying to send the ball. Picking the right target is more than just where we want the ball to go. We have to factor in where your ball might end up going, on a slightly missed hit shot. I can't think of many events that would frustrate me more, than to hit a decent shot that ended up in a severely challenging situation.
