Miles joined the PGA of Canada in 2015. Growing up in Vancouver, playing competitive golf from the age of 12, Miles has had a life-long passion for the game. Miles has won on the Vancouver Golf Tour and has routinely finished in the top twenty in PGA of BC events. As a professional, Miles spent his first two years as a pro at Point Grey Golf and Country Club where he honed his skills as an instructor and as a player. Miles has a keen interest in instructional and communication techniques; he holds an Honours Degree in Writing, Rhetoric, and Communications Studies from Simon Fraser University.
Before turning professional, Miles taught for the First Tee of Greater Vancouver and B.C. Golf, instructing thousands of junior golfers throughout the Lower Mainland. As an effective communicator and teacher, Miles is able to help golfers of any level increase their enjoyment and understanding of the game of golf, and strives to deliver personalized instruction to meet the needs of each individual student. Miles is able to help with the technical aspects of the golf swing, as well as the psychology of golf and course management.
