Peter Sorokovsky
Manager of Golf Course Operations
With a master’s degree in soil science (UBC) and over 35 years of turfgrass and golf course maintenance experience, Peter oversees golf course operations, turfgrass care and capital improvement projects. With his extensive volunteer involvement as the Western Canada Turfgrass Association Research Chairperson, he has promoted a push for greater turfgrass research and education in the golf industry. His extensive knowledge and experience has produced excellent turfgrass health and outstanding playable conditions for two of the busiest golf courses in all of Canada.

Leslie MacDonald
Administrative Officer
Leslie holds a degree from SFU and has over 40 years experience working in the City's Parks Recreation & Culture department and loves working with people. Leslie oversees the golf division's business unit information and reporting, the administration staff, and the servicing/programming of the golf course management systems while supporting the golf teams as they work to enhance the guest experience.

Head Professional, Burnaby Golf Services
With a CPGA Class A Golf Professional certification/designation, a BComm (UBC) and several years in the golf industry, Hal oversees our golf instructional programs and customer services. He has been instrumental in bringing golf into local elementary schools, and enjoys introducing new players to the game and welcoming everyone who visits our golf facilities.

Director - PMO and Enterprise Services
With over 25 years' experience in the food and beverage industry and an MBA (Finance), Bob brings his variety of experiences to the City as he oversees the Golf and Food divisions as part of PMO and Enterprise services. Bob has enjoyed taking Burnaby's services to a new level and ensuring that guest expectations are exceeded.
