On March 31, we bid farewell to Hal Eremko, our Head Professional of Golf Services. Hal has been an integral part of Golf Burnaby, guiding our team towards excellence throughout his tenure.
With 33 years in the golf industry, Hal joined the Burnaby Golf team 25 years ago as an employee for the City of Burnaby. He takes great pride in being part of an organization that has consistently improved and thrived since his arrival. Hal is proud to have contributed to the development of Burnaby Golf facilities into what they are today.
As Hal looks to the future, he is excited to embrace all the golf outings he had to decline over the years. If you see him post-retirement, you’ll likely find him on the greens! He plans to take golf trips with friends across the province and join regular players for a beer at the Bistro.
We will miss Hal’s friendly, calm, and knowledgeable presence on our courses. He was always there with a kind word and a good laugh. Best wishes, Hal, and we’ll see you on the first tee!
