Introducing the Select Pi ball dispensing system!

Last updated: December 5, 2024

Burnaby Mountain and Riverway golf courses have switched to the Select Pi ball dispensing system. You'll experience several benefits including:

  • The ability to use one range card at both Burnaby Mountain and Riverway.
  • A mobile app option to manage your range card and check your balance.

As with any transition, some processes will change and some will stay the same. We want to be as clear as possible about what changes are coming and how it will affect your experience at our driving ranges:

Questions and answers

  • You can now use your range card or the Select Pi mobile app at both Burnaby Mountain and Riverway driving ranges.
  • You’ll now preload dollar amounts, instead of buckets, onto your range card or mobile app.
  • PINs will also no longer be used with the new system.
  • When balls are dispensed, the amount debited from your card will be based on the price of balls at the time of dispensing, not at the time of purchase.

You'll no longer be able to enter your number into the ball dispensing machine. If you no longer have your physical card, visit our pro shop at your next visit. Our friendly staff will help you with either downloading the Select Pi app or issuing you a new physical range card.

After December 3, your buckets will convert to dollar amounts. For example, one bucket will become $6.50.

When balls are dispensed, the amount debited from your card will be based on the price of balls at the time of dispensing, not at the time of purchase.

You'll continue to visit the pro shop to request the package you wish to purchase and preload.
